Power dropped at our event venue two hours before guests arrived. They had the 25 kW on site in 40 minutes, quietly ran the kitchen, bar, and sound for the whole evening.

Rented one for a four-week kitchen remodel while the main panel was out. Plenty of capacity for the tools and the trailer's compressor — never tripped a breaker once.

Frequently asked questions

How do delivery and pickup work?

Delivery is quoted separately from the rental rate because every site is different. Typical local metro transport runs $175–$350 each way ($350–$700 round-trip) — towables require a heavy-duty pickup or flatbed, so we don't bundle it as a flat fee. Long-distance, mountain, or remote drops are billed at a flat $450+ each way or with a per-mile surcharge. We'll lock in the exact number when you book.

What's the difference between single-shift and 24/7 operation?

Standard rates cover one shift — about 8 hours of engine run-time per day (40 hours per week). If you're running the generator continuously (24/7) on a construction site or live event, we apply a multi-shift multiplier to account for accelerated engine wear and shorter service intervals:

  • Double-shift (16 hr/day): +50% over the base rate
  • Triple-shift / continuous (24 hr/day): +100% over the base rate
  • Tell us your expected run-time when you book so we can quote it correctly the first time.
Do I need environmental spill containment?

Many commercial jobsites — and most municipal permits — require towable diesel units to sit on an environmental containment berm or use dual-containment fluid tanks. This protects against oil or fuel leaks and keeps you in compliance. We charge $35–$90 per day for the containment package depending on what your jobsite requires. If you're not sure whether yours mandates it, ask when you book and we'll check the local code.

Do you rent power distribution accessories?

Yes — most jobs need at least some distribution gear to actually get the power where it needs to go. Common add-ons:

  • Heavy feeder cables (Cam-lok): $45–$95 per day per 50 ft section
  • Portable distribution boxes (spider boxes): $25–$55 per day each
  • Custom configurations on request — let us know the load points and we'll spec it.
What's the fuel policy?

Generators leave our yard with a full tank of diesel and we ask that they come back full. If the unit is returned empty (or partial), we refuel at local pump prices plus a refueling service fee — typically $6–$10 per gallon total. For multi-day jobs we can also schedule on-site fuel refills for an added fee; just ask.

What can I actually power with 25 kW?

25 kW (≈100 amps at 240 V) is enough for most small-commercial and residential needs. Some real-world examples:

  • A food truck plus event lighting and a sound system, with headroom to spare
  • A small construction site — saws, compressor, lights, and a job-trailer office
  • A residential whole-house backup (everything except simultaneous central AC and electric range)
  • If you're not sure, send us your major loads and we'll confirm fit before we deliver.
What's your service area?

Metro area and surrounding counties (~50 mi) at our standard delivery rates. Outside that radius we'll still come to you — it just adds a per-mile surcharge or a flat long-distance fee. Contact us with your address for a firm quote.
